Alec Gibbons hails from Rockford, Illinois. He's a movie junkie, word monkey, and camera obsessive. He's written scripts that have had success at a variety of acclaimed screenplay competitions including The Austin Film Festival, Nichols Academy Fellowship, PAGE, ScreenCraft, and Scriptapalooza.

Alec directs and his credits include videography, short films, and commercials. His most recent short One Bad Night had a lengthy, film festival run that included award nominations at some of the most prestigious genre festivals. It later premiered online via Film Shortage and Bloody Disgusting. It was just sold for distribution to ShortsTV (AMC) and Bloody Disgusting.

He has post-production experience with FOX, Amazon, Jukin Media, Hulu, Jagermeister, MARS Candy, Will Smith's Westbrook Entertainment, Lebron James' Springhill Co., and a variety of other brands. His editing credits include works that have been screened at the Producer's Guild of America and multiple festivals.

He's also been known to pick up a camera or two and has experience with the story, live and promotional materials for clients like Bud Light, Nickelodeon, American Idol, and Solo: A Star Wars Story.
